Kirstie Montague drew inspiration from her love of nature to create her collection for LOVERAMICS. The designs represent the intimate relationship between birds and trees. Living in the countryside Kirstie is ideally placed to observe this interaction, witnessing at first hand the movement of migrating birds and the changing colours of trees through the seasons.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Kirstie Montague studied Interior Textiles and Surface Design at the University of Somerset. All her designs are based on aspects of the natural world, from the largest tree to the smallest bird, as observed in the Devonshire countryside where she lives. Capturing nature with her camera and sketchbook, she then manipulates her photography and mark making into beautiful ethereal designs.
