The Tripod concept is a functional, colourful porcelain collection where each piece stands on three feet for stability and functionality. The concept covers tableware, food storage and food preparation. All the bowls in the range are versatile and can accommodate many international foods for eating or for food preparation with each bowl having a spout that also functions as a handle. The bowls and storage jars are conveniently stackable to help save space within the kitchen. The collection is enhanced by a tonal cascade of various hues of blue from deep cobalt to a subtle azure.
Simon Stevens is an award winning product designer and a driving force in ceramic design. Simon has worked with some of World's most prestigious ceramic manufacturers and has taught and lectured on the subject throughout the UK. He has headed up Design Teams for lifestyle brands and now continues his design career in the established Simon Stevens Design Studio based in London. Simon's dynamic creativity resulted in his most successful designs being in the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Frankfurt Museum of Applied Art.
