Loveramics TaiKwun Store is Moved
Last Friday marked a special moment for us at Loveramics — the grand opening of our new TaiKwun Hong Kong Shop! While we’ve simply moved to the opposite of our original space, the shift represents much more than just a change in location. It’s a celebration of growth, renewal, and our continued love for the craft of ceramics in the heart of Hong Kong’s heritage site.

A Historic Setting Reimagined Now located at Shop G04‑05, Block 1, our new store is nestled inside the beautifully restored former Central Police Station Compound—a site encompassing declared monuments like the Central Police Station, Magistracy, and Victoria Prison. This eight‑year, HK$3.8 billion revitalisation reopened as Tai Kwun Centre for Heritage & Arts in 2018; it even earned a UNESCO Asia‑Pacific Award of Excellence for Cultural Heritage Conservation.

The warm summer air mingled with chill and conversation as guests explored the bright, open layout designed to highlight both heritage and modern craft. |
A Lifestyle Space Beyond Retail 
Stepping inside, visitors are greeted by our vibrant Egg Collection display set against a vintage green backdrop — a striking visual anchor that contrasts beautifully with the building’s vintage wood‑framed French windows and tiled floors. The space is anchored by a live espresso bar, blending ritual with elegance in a café‑like atmosphere, an invitation to pause and savor the moment. 
The layout evokes the comfort of home: cozy dining displays, sleek shelving, functional tableware vignettes, and our full ceramics collections — ideal for everything from weekday morning coffee rituals to celebratory dinners. It’s not just shopping: it’s an immersive lifestyle experience that brings Loveramics’ ethos to life. 
From live demonstrations to curated installations, the store is intentionally engaging. It reflects our ongoing commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, and the timeless pleasure of sharing coffee, tea, and meals with those we love. We’re grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate. This renewed space is fresh and new—but our spirit remains the same: rooted in creativity, community, culture and a love for ceramics. |
